Sat 24 AUG Calgary, Canada
Individual arrival in Calgary. At 6 PM, meet your traveling companions for a welcome
dinner at your hotel. Your Tour Director will prepare you for your upcoming adventure. (D)
Sun 25 AUG Calgary - Banff
Before departing Calgary, enjoy an orientation tour of the city's highlights. Head to
BANFF NATIONAL PARK, the heart of the Canadian Rockies. Your sightseeing
includes Bow Falls and the Hoodoos. The balance of the day is at leisure, or maybe
join an optional helicopter flightseeing trip for unsurpassed views of the Rockies. (B)
Mon 26 AUG Banff - Columbia Icefield - Jasper
Follow breathtaking Icefields Parkway today and head for JASPER NATIONAL PARK.
Scale Bow Pass for splendid views of Peyto Lake. Then, climb to Sunwapta Pass to
savor stunning vistas of alpine meadows, waterfalls, and glacier masses. Next is the
highlight of the day: stop at the 1,200-foot-thick Columbia Icefield for a memorable
ride aboard an ICE EXPLORER. There's time this afternoon for an optional float
trip down the historic Athabasca River. (B, D)
Tue 27 AUG Jasper, Excursion to Maligne Lake
The morning is at leisure. Optional activities include hiking, canoeing, and strolling
the streets of Jasper. This afternoon, journey to Maligne Lake for a fully narrated
CRUISE of the glacial lake and Spirit Island. Afterward, enjoy a lakeside dinner
with incredible views and local fare including famous Alberta beef. (B, D)
Wed 28 AUG Jasper - Lake Louise - Kananaskis
This morning, visit Athabasca Falls and then retrace the route south along Icefields
Parkway. Another highlight is a visit to famous LAKE LOUISE. Continue to Kananaskis
for your overnight. (B)
Thu 29 AUG Kananaskis - Head-Smashed- In Buffalo Jump - Waterton
After breakfast travel south along the Macleod Trail. Just outside the town of Fort
Macleod, visit HEAD-SMASHED-IN BUFFALO JUMP, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Then, on to scenic WATERTON LAKES NATIONAL PARK with a photo stop at
Cameron Falls. (B, D)
Fri 30 AUG Waterton - Glacier National Park - Going-to-the-Sun Road - Whitefish
Enter Montana through Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park, a UNESCO World
Heritage Site, and behold the awesome snowcapped peaks of
GLACIER NATIONAL PARK. A highlight awaits you as you board the famous
vintage red "JAMMER BUSES" that will take you along one of North America's
most spectacular highways: Going-to-the-Sun Road. After crossing 6,664-foot-high
Logan Pass, enter a geographical wonderland of alpine scenery where jagged
mountain peaks, deep-green forests, pristine lakes, and meadows dominate the
landscape. Before arriving at your resort, enjoy a made-from-scratch piece of
HUCKLEBERRY PIE or ICE CREAM-a delicious treat to end your day. (B)
Sat AUG 31 Whitefish
This morning, enjoy a GONDOLA ride to the top of Whitefish Mountain for fantastic
views and photo opportunities. The rest of the afternoon is free to explore on your
own. Maybe play a round of golf, browse the art galleries and boutiques, or just
relax at your resort. This evening, enjoy a cowboy sing-along and an old-fashioned
Sun SEP 1 Whitefish - Sandpoint - Spokane
Today, stop in pretty Sandpoint, where there's time to browse the boutiques and
galleries. Travel along the scenic Pend Oreille River into Washington. End the day
with sightseeing of Spokane, including Manito Park Gardens. This evening is at
leisure. You may wish to walk along the banks of the Spokane River or ride the
Gondola Skyride over some of the area's waterfalls. (B)
Mon SEP 2 Spokane - Leavenworth - Seattle
Depart Spokane and stop in the Bavarian village of Leavenworth, where there's time
to stroll the charming streets of town, visit the Nutcracker Museum, or sample
local fare. Arrive in Seattle later this afternoon with a transfer to your
independently arranged Seattle hotel. (B)

$4,300.00 per person
Travel insurance: $389.00 per person

Price and itinerary are subject to change at any time without prior notification. A non-refundable deposit of
$500.00 per person ($1,000.00 per room) is due NOW in order to make a firm reservation. A non-refundable cancellation fee of $100.00 per person will apply in addition to the tour operator's cancellation fees. Flights, tips, airport transfers, etc. are not included. Flights can be booked through Kerstin's Travel. A passport, valid for 6 months beyond the completion date of your travel is required. Appropriate physical fitness is required since the tour includes walking at each stop. Minimum group size: 20 guests. Maximum group size approx. 40 guests.
